"I started a podcast to grow my business"

We're a digital marketing company which provides services all over the world. I recently started podcast to promote my business. In this podcast, I'm inviting celebrities and actors, directors, producers, and talking with them about the film industry and giving value to the people. I cover acting, direction, motivation, and spirituality—it depends on the guest who is coming to the show. I just recently started this and have done nine episodes so far; the 10th is coming soon.

I'm inviting people from the field from which I provide the services—video production—and when we publish our podcast, our guests also share the link of an episode with them on their platforms. And when they do, there are chances that more people will know about me, know about the company. That is the reason behind it.

Regarding the interview guests, I simply email them. I have people who already know me and I also have another YouTube channel. It's not a podcast; it's for social service. Some of the guests are my customers and some of them are, hopefully, going to be customers in future.

If they like my videos, quality and everything, they feel it's good, then they come. We also have a team that is continuously reaching out to people.

What I do next is simply go on waveroom.com, create a room, share the link, email to the guest, they join me, we record an episode, and then download it.

Then we edit the show and upload it on YouTube. That's our process.

My listeners are around the world; they're from the US, Canada, Australia, India, and my podcast is in English. They're actors, producers, directors, and regular people too, but most of the people are from the film industry.

Our podcast really helps us reach those people, and when you give value to your audience, then they might become your customers in the future. That's the whole goal of this podcast. People are reaching out to me now after watching my show. At first, I had to reach out to a guest. Now, I am getting emails.

"With Waveroom, I just need to put my name & go straight to recording. It's so easy!"

There's an interesting story behind the podcast I started and why I use Waveroom at all. There was a friend of mine in Germany and he started a podcast a few months back. He said he needed a guest who had a business and wanted to talk about business and all, so he invited me to be his guest.

Then he tried to send me the Zoom link. Zoom wasn't working on my system for some reason. Then he sent me another program. I don't know which one but it didn't work either. Then he sent me Waveroom, and I didn't need to sign in, didn't need to do anything. I just put my name and good to go! It was just so easy for us, so he recorded the session where we talked about the business experience and then I asked if he could send me a clip of me talking.

With the help of Waveroom, I can talk to people from around the world and easily save that conversation, edit it and upload. It's easy.

After he sent me that clip, I also tried Waveroom and talked with my brother, who was sitting next to me. I saw how easy it was. Just log in, talk, and download. It's great! So after this conversation, I also thought that I should start a podcast. That friend who gave me the idea isn't making podcasts, but I am a podcaster now.

I would definitely recommend that people use Waveroom. It's very easy to use, it has a very user-friendly interface: you just go to the website, create a room, copy the link, send it to your guest, and start talking. And after you finish the conversation, just download it. It's easy.
